Patterned after observing the colors of nature moving through the seasons, power, force, energy 勢 comes from a perfect balance 平衡 of the five colors 五色, neither too much nor too little of any one color (克 – 生).

The Five Color Longevity Health Smoothie© was originally made for students learning Tai Chi. It helps them achieve ideal balance.

After drinking either the Five Color Longevity Health Smoothie© or Take 5 Colors Instant Vegetable Drink Mix©, please practice the Paint the Rainbow Movement, it takes less than a minute. Link

Recipe

Makes 13 Servings of Vegetables and Fruit ( based on 100% juice)

1 cup chopped kale

1/2 cup each:
guava, mango, papaya, pear, banana (or about one medium banana), blueberries, beets

6 oz. non or low fat yogurt.

1 can (12 oz.) of Dole frozen 100% juice concentrate, filled three times with water.

Choose from:

  • Orange Peach Mango
  • Orange Strawberry Banana
  • Pineapple Juice
  • Pineapple Orange
  • Pineapple-Orange Banana
  • Pineapple-Orange Strawberry

Empty contents of can into blender and follow directions to fill the empty container three times with water, add water into blender.

* Blend all the ingredients.

* The smaller the beet chunks are, the easier they’ll blend. For best results, fill the blender with the concentrate and liquid, add the beets and use the ice breaker feature to break them up. Then add the rest of the ingredients.

* For convenience, pre-package ingredients for servings in freezer bags, store in freezer and empty into blender when ready.
